After completing his studies in Photography & Arts at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Cornelius embarked on a journey of international travel, assisting some of the most renowned fashion photographers in the industry as a lighting director.
Dividing his time between Europe, the USA, and Asia for both professional and personal projects, Cornelius draws inspiration from his experiences of travel, exploration, and street photography. He is now based in Paris, where he continues to develop his distinctive artistic vision through photography.
His work has been featured in publications including Vogue, M Le Magazine du Monde, Financial Times, T Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Porter, The Telegraph Luxury, The Sunday Times Style, Hard Pack, Cap 74024, Noisè Mag, Port Mag, Beauty Papers, and LFI | Leica Fotografie International.
His clients include Rhode, Theory, Maje, Isabel Marant, Lancel, Fursac, Armani, Net-a-Porter, Clinique, E.L.F. Beauty, Costa Brazil, Ba&sh, Marella, Claudie Pierlot, Aigle, and Marriott, among others.
In February 2024, Cornelius published his first book, Saudade, a project exploring Brazil, its people, and their singular way of life.
