In 2025, Arianne received her fourth Academy Award nomination and third BAFTA nomination for her costume design on James Mangold’s A Complete Unknown, starring Timothée Chalamet as Bob Dylan. Her work was widely praised for authentically capturing the many defining eras of Dylan’s life while seamlessly balancing historical accuracy with character-driven storytelling.
Previously, Arianne earned Academy Award and BAFTA nominations for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, starring Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio. In 2022, Arianne designed the costumes for Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling. For her work on the film, she received the prestigious Campari Passion Award at the Venice International Film Festival, becoming the first woman to receive the honor, which recognizes an outstanding creative collaborator behind a film premiering at the festival.
In 2024, Arianne reunited with director Todd Phillips for Joker: Folie à Deux, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. Blending psychological drama with musical spectacle, the film allowed her to create costumes that bridged Gotham’s gritty realism with the heightened theatricality of its central characters, particularly Lady Gaga’s interpretation of Harley Quinn.
In 2026, Arianne designed the costumes for The Invite, Olivia Wilde’s stylish psychological thriller starring Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz, Edward Norton, and Olivia Wilde. Reuniting with Wilde following Don’t Worry Darling, she crafted a wardrobe that subtly underscores the film’s themes of identity, desire, and social performance. Her extensive body of work also includes the Kingsman films, Nocturnal Animals, 3:10 to Yuma, One Hour Photo, Girl, Interrupted, The People vs. Larry Flynt, and The Crow, as well as the Broadway musical Head Over Heels and the Metropolitan Opera and English National Opera co-production of Marnie.
