When cashmere becomes art. For one evening, Falconeri’s signature cashmere stepped beyond the world of fashion and into the realm of contemporary art. On October 14, Exposure NY Creative Services brought Galleria Falconeri to The Brant Foundation in New York, celebrating a collaboration between Italian cashmere house Falconeri and French-Japanese artist Tiffany Bouelle. The evening explored the beauty of a single material through art, movement, and experience. At its center, Bouelle’s live performance offered a new perspective on cashmere, transforming a fiber celebrated for its softness into a medium for artistic expression.
A study in texture, light, and form. Every element of the space was designed to reflect the qualities of Falconeri’s UltraFine cashmere. Soft draping, warm ambient lighting, and carefully composed installations created an atmosphere that felt intimate yet expressive. Lighting by Flos illuminated the performance and surrounding artwork, drawing attention to the delicate textures and subtle details of the material. Rather than simply displaying the craftsmanship behind cashmere, the evening invited guests to experience it. From Mongolia to Milanese-inspired Italian craftsmanship to New York.
The story of cashmere continued at the dinner table. Chef Silvia Barban created a three-course Italian menu inspired by the geographical journey of Falconeri’s cashmere, tracing its origins in Mongolia, its refinement by Italian artisans, and its arrival in New York. The dining experience carried the same attention to detail as the artwork. A softly draped table, considered plating, and tactile elements echoed the textures of the material, bringing the story of cashmere into an entirely different setting.
An evening in good company. The celebration welcomed guests including Uma Thurman, Ashley Benson, Bailey Bass, Jason Bard Yamosky, and Katie Holmes. Bringing together art, fashion, and hospitality, Galleria Falconeri offered a fresh interpretation of the brand’s heritage, where craftsmanship was not only admired, but experienced.
