Born and raised in the UK, David first picked up a camera at 16 years old and realized, very early on, that photography was his calling. David’s newfound passion meant the study of anything but photography fell by the wayside, though with the encouragement of his teachers he forged a path that allowed him to follow his ambitions. 

David has gone on to have a successful career among commercial and editorial clients alike. His editorial clients include GQ (UK, Italy, Turkey), Esquire (US, UK), Observer, Elle Man, L’Officiel, Man of the World, Departures, Saturday Times, Independent, Jocks & Nerds, Men’s Health, Monocle, Le Figaro, Flaunt, Shortlist, and Nowness. Advertising clients include FedEx, Nike, Hunter, Rimowa, Barbour, Henri Lloyd, Clarks, Hudson shoes, Lacoste, Pringle of Scotland, Wrangler, CP Company, Kurt Geiger, Matches Fashion, H&M, Next, Duchamp, Harrods, French Connection, House of Fraser, and Sainsbury’s. 

David has also completed a number personal projects. One of his favorites, “The Off Season” saw him travel Britain’s coastlines during the winter months photographing the often-deserted seaside resorts. This project, in particular, helped define David’s unique eye for landscapes. The project was featured in the British press and was shown at two galleries in London. 

David lives on the South coast of England with his wife, four children and two dogs, ensuring life is never quiet nor dull. When time allows, he can be found out in the wild and on the water, enjoying time with his family, chasing the trails and throwing himself downhill on 2 wheels.
