At 53 years old, Jennifer Aniston is a phenomenon in-and-of herself. She’s had more than her fair share of success– but with that comes struggle, which she opens up about in her interview with Danielle Pergament for the December 2022 issue (and last print edition) of Allure.
In her cover story, Aniston unpacks her emotionally-taxing journey with IVF and addresses the destructive tabloid speculation she’s been subjected to for her 30 years in the spotlight. “I would say my late 30s, 40s, I’d gone through really hard shit, and if it wasn’t for going through that, I would’ve never become who I was meant to be,” Aniston says. “That’s why I have such gratitude for all those shitty things. Otherwise, I would’ve been stuck being this person that was so fearful, so nervous, so unsure of who they were. And now, I don’t fucking care.”
For the cover story, Aniston is styled by Shibon Kennedy, with vintage items provided by El Cycèr Vintage and photography by Zoey Grossman. Read the full story here.
