For the November cover story, Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright and Danai Gurira sit down to discuss Black representation in media, female empowerment and their newest film in the “Black Panther” franchise, “Wakanda Forever.” They also speak in depth about their collective process of grief following the passing of costar Chadwick Boseman, and how this unimaginable loss forged a deep sense of community amongst the cast and crew as they navigated carrying on the film’s legacy without him.
