Samuel Ellis Scheinman for i-D's Earthrise Issue

The Earthrise Issue features bold and natural images in an attempt to explore the human nature and emphasize the natural essence of the fashion industry. The models are photographed free of clothing to represent and celebrate our place as humans in the natural world. Being the first fashion section of a magazine to include no clothing, the issue proves that clothing is not the most integral part of the beauty in fashion—but rather natural human beauty is. The beauty of the natural human form is used to highlight the importance of reclaiming our roots of “craft and creativity” within the fashion industry.
