Attainability is the word as Jacquemus debuts their Fall 2023 collection “LE CHOUCHOU” at the Palace of Versailles. Embracing new and old, Jacquemus was quoted saying he wanted young people to feel like they could have anything: a boat ride date in Versailles, a dress from a luxury-wear label, it’s all within grasp if you reach for it. As the location of his first date with his now husband, Palace of Versailles was the perfect location for the runway of this romantic, elegant, and dreamy collection. Inspired by looks from Princess Diana, to Lady Di this collection did not disappoint. Models walked the runway surrounded by an audience in rowboats, each outfit reflecting a different side to Jacquemus. Faraway from its more playful side, pieces featured lace detailing on mesh skirts and tie-together tank tops, while men’s looks played on the contemporary suit with shoulder cutouts and blooming, scrunched-up, boxer-esque waistbands. Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Deva Cassel were just a few of the models on the runway cast by DM Casting’s Piergiorgio Del Moro.
