This season, Mr. Ford transported his audience to the glitz of a bygone era. The collection takes cues from 80s sequins and silhouettes, with moments of campy Western-inspired fringe and beading sprinkled in along the way.
When asked about his inspiration, he said “Fun. I was inspired by fun.” And fun it certainly was, as models made their way down the runway to remixed 80s New Wave in low-rise applique shorts and gigantic glittering hoop earrings. The set also played a major role in stirring the ambiance, with a reflective runway beneath disco balls to light up the whole space for a night.
