Set designer Jonathon Beck collaborated with the chefs Gael Cruchet and Francesco Bonato of The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C. to create a unique feast for the eyes. In the Elle Decor feature, Beck reveals his vision and states, “There was a sculptural quality to [the chefs’] dishes, which really appealed to me. We wanted the installation to be fun, to surprise and transport people in the way that a great meal does.” Beck is pushing boundaries and transporting viewers into an unconventional food experience.
