New York Based illustrator, Jacky Marshall (also known as Jacky Blue) who Exposure NY proudly represents, has created striking illustrations for the Spring 2026 Vogue Runway: Haute Couture Chanel and Dior show. Both shows marked an important moment with new creative directors.
At the Dior show, reverence and iconoclasm was the core of Jonathan Anderson’s debut. The show took off with a trio of black, white, and orange colored dresses which featured hourglass silhouettes ruched and stitched in tulle. Every look consisted of little flowers made of fabric poking out of the models ears, similar to the fabric flowers on the ceiling poking out of the moss. The merchandised and couture aspect of this collection, (oversized leather bags, silk jacquard envelope clutches, and sliced mother-of-pearl minaudières) was surprising, and an offer at the Dior Villa a new VVIC shopping Salon the brand is setting up.
The Chanel show was Matthieu Blazys first Chanel haute couture collection. His instinct and inspiration for this collection was to do what Coco Chanel once did, he explains it as “clothes for women to go to work, to go to a play, the cinema, whatever,” The show opened with a transparent version of the familiar Chanel skirt suit. It was cut from the finest blush pink mousseline, and finished with pink quartz “buttons” along with a traditional hem chain with small natural pearls. This show featured a variety of alluring, delicate details. Blazy wanted the Chanel couture collection to be a place where women can go for comfortable and easy elegance.
These striking, beautiful looks were reimagined through Jacky Marshalls captivating illustrations for Vogue Runway.
