Exposure’s adored photographer Frances Tulk-Hart made the long journey to the Island of Nantucket to photograph her friend Elin Hilderbrand, who just so happens to be a renowned NYT bestselling author who is being featured in the recent Wall Street Journal. Analog film seemed to be the invariable format, suited for relaxed captures of an afternoon of catching up. Lots of laughs, lots of sandals, and a little exploration of Hilderbrand’s immediate future as the beloved romance novelist she is. Hint: she is carrying on with her daily ritual of bathing by the sea, but just not without her pen and paper.
