On April 23rd, Exposure NY Creative Services partnered with Falconeri to host an intimate dinner in Los Angeles celebrating the launch of the brand’s new ultrafine cashmere fabric. The evening unfolded at the iconic Getty House in Brentwood, an architectural landmark chosen for its striking balance of strength and softness. Its modern, almost brutalist structure juxtaposed with delicate detailing mirrored the essence of Falconeri’s latest collection. Conceived as a fully immersive experience, the dinner brought the fabric to life through its color, texture, and shape. Every element from the tablescape to the culinary journey was designed to reflect the nuanced depth of ultrafine cashmere.
Throughout the space, three sculptural installations served as focal points, each interpreting a core element of the collection. Sweater columns, a stacked arrangement of folded knits, and a sweeping fabric arch highlighted Falconeri’s signature fabrications: Airfine, Silkfine, and Ultrafine. The raw, tactile tablescape further echoed the narrative natural stones paired with soft, organic florals created a landscape that felt both grounded and ethereal, embodying the weightless quality of the garments.
The evening’s three-course menu was thoughtfully curated as a metaphor for the cashmere production process. The first course, a delicate crudo, represented the raw fiber stage. This was followed by a pasta dish topped with spun sugar, symbolizing the intricate transformation of fiber into yarn. The final course, a strawberry panna cotta, drew inspiration from the dyeing process, completing the sensory journey.
The guest list underscored Falconeri’s position within the elevated luxury space, with notable attendees including Sharon Stone, Eva Longoria, Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford, Matt Bomer, and Jesse Williams. Each guest was dressed in Falconeri and given a cashmere shawl, further extending the brand experience beyond the evening.
The event garnered significant media attention, with coverage from WWD, ELLE, Just Jared, Entertainment Tonight, and People.
