On May 30th, thousands gathered at LA’s historic Trinity Auditorium for the West Coast debut of Sukeban, an electrifying Japanese women’s pro-wrestling league. Hosted by Kunichi Nomura, the event wrapped up the spring season with a star-studded spectacle. The evening featured a thrilling five-match fight card, culminating in reigning champion Commander Nakajima’s victory against Crush Yuu. Guests enjoyed a vibrant night market with local hospitality vendors and exclusive entertainment, including DJ sets by Tokyo DJ Ecec and captivating yo-yo performances by Ayumu Harada. Notable figures in attendance included wrestling legend Bull Nakano, WWE president Nick Kahn, Diplo, Sandy Kim, and Saweetie, who debuted her new song, “NANi.” We are thrilled to have collaborated with Sukeban to produce this memorable event, overseeing the creative development and execution processes to create a refreshing atmosphere. Our efforts helped create an immersive experience filled with adrenaline, fashion, music, and discovery, reinforcing the Sukeban’s world. Read more about the event in PAPER Magazine.
