Drawing inspiration from iconic couturiers such as Azzedine Alaïa, Madame Grès, Charles Frederick Worth, Paul Poiret, and Yves Saint Laurent, Daniel Roseberry challenged the notion that modernity must equate to simplicity. “Can’t the new also be extravagant?” he mused. By weaving together design elements from the 1920s through the 1990s, Roseberry created a collection that feels entirely new while redefining what modernity can mean.
Titled Icarus, Daniel Roseberry unveiled Schiaparelli’s Spring 2025 collection at the iconic Petit Palais in Paris with a breathtaking, all-star lineup curated by DM Casting. Opening the show was the striking Rosalie Fuchs, dressed in an asymmetrical, tiered nude illusion gown that set the tone for the collection. Pearls, feathers, and embroidery atop intricately sculpted gowns and blazers celebrated the honest craft of Roseberry and Schiaparelli’s signature DNA.
With a cast featuring icons like Kendall Jenner, Alex Consani, and Mona Tougaard, alongside rising stars Lulu Tenney and Lola Bahi, the show was a stunning display of confident strides and unique looks. Model of the Year Alex Consani swept through the space in a lavishly feathered coat, while Kendall Jenner captivated the audience in a nude corset dress with jutting hips and embroidered duchess satin.
Once again, Daniel Roseberry exceeded expectations with his seamless hand-sewn couture designs, demonstrating the true art of meticulous craftsmanship and dedication. Icarus is a bold testament to the enduring power of haute couture and Roseberry’s ability to honor tradition while pushing boundaries.’
