Disney celebrates its 100-year anniversary with Tommy Hilfiger, in a Manga inspired collection released June 1st. ‘Disney x Tommy’ features prep looks for adults and kids detailed with everyone’s favorite Disney characters drawn in a Japanese cartoon style. With both brands being known for their monumental impact throughout time, celebrating Disney’s centennial with this collaboration is only fitting. A capsule centered around Tommy Hilfiger’s collegiate pieces, this collection highlights their classic rugby shirts, polos, chinos, and more. Each piece draws attention to the original Mickey silhouette or a new envisioned ‘Manga Mickey,’ pairing the two brands in preppy, playful harmony.
Movement Director, Jorge Dorsinville, brings the playfulness of the shoot to life in a way that highlights the pieces and the stories behind them. Dorsinville directs the models into poses reflecting the togetherness and collaboration of the brands and the new capsule.
