Spring 2027 will continue to redefine the fashion world, DM Casting has once again demonstrated the importance of thoughtful casting across three runway presentations, Jacquemus, Sacai, and Dries Von Noten. Each show offered a distinct creative vision that brought casts of all authenticity, individuality, and depth to each collection.
Jacquemus ended the season with a collection rooted in Mediterranean perception, pairing refined tailoring with casual silhouettes and cinematic perfection. The house represents effortless confidence and DM Casting did an exceptional job reflecting that throughout the cast. They brought warmth and personality to each individual look but still allowed the craftsmanship to remain the focus.
Sacai continued on with their unique theme of utility and innovation by blending technical construction with unconventional proportions and layered silhouettes. This diverse cast created a seamless atmosphere that allowed Chitose Abe’s designs to be showcased effortlessly, emphasizing the brand’s ability to combine functionality with fashion-forward pieces. Through careful and meticulous casting, every look maintained its individuality which still created a cohesive runway narrative.
At Dries Van Noten, creative director Julian Klausner provided an ethereal menswear collection, combining softness, fluidity, and movement into every piece. He used airy layers, a soft color palette, and lightweight tailoring to showcase a new approach to a more modern masculinity. DM Casting did an excellent job representing the brand’s quiet confidence and effortless elegance in each model. The cast reinforced the dreamlike atmosphere, which allowed each look to feel personal instead of performative.
Throughout all three runway presentations, DM Casting proved that superb casting is more than the model themselves but instead it is about building a connection between the clothing and the model in order to tell a story. DM Casting elevated every runway to ensure that each collection embodied each brand.
